An Introduction to Immersive Theatre and Transmedia Storytelling
at Perform 2013

Explore immersive and interactive stories with Stellar Network. An expert panel of practitioners will explore how companies like Punchdrunk and Blast Theory have popularised immersive experiences, and will give you a fast-track guide to building a career in this exploding genre, from performing to writing, directing and producing.

Founded in New York in 2002 by Hannah Minghella and Nicola Behrman, Stellar Network was originally formed for the expat film, television and theatre communities to regularly connect.

Stellar Network's London branch was founded in 2004, quickly building its reputation on regular script workshops at the Hospital Club, panels with the Young Vic Theatre, and pitching competitions with BAFTA.

For 9 years, Stellar has been the only network to bring together writers, directors and producers from across the sectors.

Our events have always addressed the movement of people and knowledge between mediums, and the opportunities brought by digital tools to allow the mediums to merge even further.

Now that transmedia is here to stay, it is vital that new generations of talent are trained and nurtured so that there continues to be a fresh supply of ideas and people.
